FAQ

Before You Book

Do I need riding experience?

Not at all. Most of our riders are first-timers. We match every rider to the right horse and give a brief orientation before every ride.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes or boots, long pants, and sun protection. We provide helmets. No sandals, flip-flops, or high heels.

What's the age minimum?

Children must be at least 8 years old and 60 lbs to ride. Children under 12 must ride with a parent or guardian.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend at least 2โ€“3 days for weekday rides and 1โ€“2 weeks for weekend rides. Sunset rides often book 2+ weeks out in summer.

What if it rains?

Light rain is no problem โ€” we ride year-round. In cases of lightning, high wind, or unsafe trail conditions, we'll reschedule you at no charge.
