Our Story

We Were Born
in the Saddle

Mark and Louise Loefler have spent their lives on horseback. In 2011, they turned that passion into a way to share Magic Valley's canyon country with families from around the world.

Thirteen Years of Canyon Rides

Mark grew up ranching in the Magic Valley, learning to ride before he could read. Louise came to horses later in life โ€” and fell completely in love. Together, they built TFHRA from two horses and a dream into one of Southern Idaho's most trusted guided ride experiences.

Every trail we ride, we've ridden a thousand times. We know where the canyon opens up for the best view, where the sage blooms brightest in June, and which horses match which riders. That local knowledge is what makes a TFHRA ride unforgettable.

Whether you're stepping into a saddle for the first time or you've been riding all your life, we'll put you on the right horse and take you somewhere beautiful.
